Spices rule steady
Mumbai, Mar 16 (PTI) Black pepper, ginger and copra prices maintained a stable trend in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity, amid ample supplies.
Following are today''s closing rates in Rs, with the previous rates in brackets:
Black pepper (per kg) 243/261 (243/261), ginger bleached (per kg) 163 (163), ginger unbleached (per kg) 193 (193), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 6,250 (6,250), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 6,150 (6,150), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 7,800 (7,800) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,250 (7,250).
