Coriander Slumps On Fresh Supplies In Major Mandies
Coriander prices witnessed some selling today on the heels of mounting arrivals in major mandies along with comfortable opening stocks in the current year. The future prices of coriander shrugged off almost Rs. 100 per quintal from its intraday highs.
As per market sources , fresh daily arrivals of around 7000-10000 bags of coriander were reported in Kota mandi while the prices of Badami quality were reported at Rs. 4200-4300 per quintal, Eagle quality at Rs. 4400- 4500 per quintal and Superior quality at Rs. 4700-4900 per quintal. Similarly, total daily arrivals of around 20000-22000 bags were reported in Ramganj mandi with the prices of Badami and Eagle quality were traded at Rs.4200 and Rs. 4500 per quintal respectively. Traders are expecting further gains in total arrivals from April month.
The NCDEX April future prices wilted almost Rs. 100 per quintal from its intraday highs and were trading at Rs. 5036 per quintal today.
